4 MONTHS OLD
Our little family has had a lot going on these days. I have been meaning to get on here and put up a post, but there is always something that gets the slot of time set aside to do it. Even now, Jared is holding a crying, teething baby who had his 4-month shots today while trying to soothe him as he catches a few glimpes of the Utah Jazz/Golden State Warriors basketball game. . .

Jared has a lot on his plate. He recently quit his job at Forever Green and accepted an offer from my Dad and Uncles at Snake River Sprinklers to take over their spraying division (Snake River Spraying). It is a great opportunity, although he had a big decision trading his old comfort job with a great friend, Chad Heider, for this one. It will be a lot of work getting everything organized to run the way he wants and a lot of new customers to meet, but I know he is going to do great! He also has been helping get ready for the Home and Garden Center at the CSI Expo Center this weekend. He may be a little stressed when you see him, but he has a lot of support from family and friends. Jared tries to play a little basketball here and there, whether it is with the church ball team or some pick up ball in Filer.
I have been pretty busy myself and it is only going to get more hectic. I am still doing hair and enjoy it more everyday. I really appreciate my clients and for all the trust that they have in me. I really look forward to seeing each of them and enjoy all of our conversations. It keeps me sane. I also applied for and received the Head JV softball coaching position at Canyon Ridge High School...that is where my life will get busy. I have also been trying to help Jared with his bookwork. Most importantly, I have been busy being a mom. It truly is the best feeling ever. We are eternally blessed for such a sweet spirit in our home. I also am on a city league basketball team, although I cut my finger in Arizona a few weeks ago and had to wait for my stitches to come out. But now, I can play!

Jett! He turned four months old today. He is smiling, giggling, and cooing more and more everyday. I took him to his 4-month check-up today and he weighed 15 lbs 3 oz and was 25 inches long. He recently, on Valentine's Day, spent the night at Grandpa and Grandy's (my parents') house. It was nice to have the night with Jared and to sleep without a peep! I'm sure my parents enjoyed it more than we did, but thank you Mom and Dad! Jett is our little pride and joy though! What would we do without that cute little boy?!
We can't forget about our little JaiBee! She sure has been good with Jett. She has gotten a lot more independent since Jett was born also. Jared and I were watching The Lady and The Tramp the other day and it made me sympathize with her. It made me throw her toy a little bit more, although she hasn't gotten a walk in awhile with this crazy weather.
There is a short little note for whoever may check this or the person who nags me that it's been two months in my chatbox! :) Well, if you haven't been getting much attention from us...now you know why!
